This edge had been honed on a full synthetic progression, and finished on a Gokumyo 20k. After a shave test of the 20k edge, I stropped the edge, and did a quick touchup on the 20k and then progressed to a French hone sold as a ‘Special Stone Only for Good Razors’. The edge was shave tested and then imaged without further stropping.The shave-related results from the efforts on the 20k were dwarfed by the edge you see above.
The ugly scratch pattern is the result of using circle-strokes on the SSOFGR.
