Seaforth logo shaving mugs are a real treat. They are little tanks, more of a crockery type of vessel actually. I am dating this set as post 1942 – that is when the Seaforth factory moved to the Connecticut address seen on the side of the mug. Also, the patent number on the mug’s inner lid is for that cardboard retainer, and it was issued to Alfred D Mckelvy in 1942.
