This bowl of Yardley English Lavender shaving soap was manufactured later than 1949, but before 1955. The crest shows the seal of the George VI, soaps made after 1955 would bear the crest of HM Queen Elizabeth II. Soaps made before 1949 bear the crest from HRH The Prince of Wales.
