Seaforth Heather n Fern Talc

Next

In the late 30s - the Seaforth line of shaving goods was in direct competition with Shultion’s Old Spice products. This crock might date to the early days of Seaforth production, the writing references the Alfred McKelvy company; Alfred left the company right after WWII. The fragrance is still pungent, but probably off-balance. The fragrance of the remaining talc in this jug comes across very powdery and barbershoppy. I do not pick up any notes of Heather or Fern, which – after 80 years - I think is to be expected.
