Nakayama Kita Tomo Nagura
It’s not often that I come across a Kiita Tomo Nagura with the fabled lime-green-yellow coloring. I realize that this color is a highly subjective matter but that’s how it looks to me when wet under daylight. In the photo it looks very warm-toned but that is from the Cashew lacquer.
This one is a bit soft, and the slurry is very pasty and fine. Honing with this stone is like sharpening on silk. It really is quite special. There is one Kesuji line on one end, and the top and sides have been sealed.
