1 matched Tomo Nagura.
The wood box has a shiny gloss black finish all around, with an abstract pattern on the top. It's fully lined with 1/8" silicone rubber, the lid is lined also; that's to protect the stones from bumping around.
I believe the box is from Japan but there were no tags or labels on it. It's used, vintage, and it shows wear in a few spots - overall I'd say it's in really nice condition for a vintage handmade box, but I'm not a box collector.
This set-up covers most of what most people need for honing a straight razor. Anyone looking to set bevels, restore old or damaged razors will need to pick up a coarse grit stone, but - otherwise - this set can be used to hone any razor to shave-ready. I've actually honed with these very stones and they work exceedingly well.
All of the stones are authentic, tested and proven.
