The Midnight Rambler is a two-component straight razor strop featuring my midnight steerhide matched up with a 3” wide heavy poly webbing component.
The leather is shiny, slick and fast. With use the surface will become matte and a the feedback will increase. The poly webbing is good for prepping the edge before shaving, and cleaning afterwards.
Both materials can be rolled up for travel if desired, but I would suggest keeping the outside diameter of the ‘wheel’ to about 5-6”.
