The original Old Spice mug refill pucks weighed 5.5 oz. Sometime in the 40s, they became 5.0 oz. The dawn of the 1960s brought a smaller 4.0 oz puck to the market, and shortly after the puck shrunk again to 3.75 oz. They stayed in this weight class until the mid 70s when the final reduction to 3.0 oz occurred.
