Nakayama Kiita Maruka
Honing a razor on this stone is orgasmic. When slurried with a matched Tomo Nagura, the honing sensation (feedback) is silky but not slippery. The feedback is subtle and clear. Rolling strokes across the top of this Kiita is amazing – the stone has ‘draw’ – not unlike a strop – and the bevel seems to want to do nothing other than to say in perfect contact with the stone.
