Naniwa Chosera 800x
This is one of my favorite stones. While it’s not as fine as the 1k Chosera, I like the way it cuts better. It does not glaze or load like the 1k C either.
They way this stone fits into my progression is like this: I set the basic bevel on this stone, and then I follow up on the 1k Chosera to remove the 800x scratches. Sometimes, I’ll just spend more time on the 3k Chosera instead of putting the 1k into the mix.
